FOREST ECOLOGY
Holden Arboretum
Kirtland, OH

Research Intern
2014 & 2015
I spent two field seasons at the Holden Arboretum as a Research Intern, working with an incredible team of scientists who undoubtedly started me on the path of meaningful research that I pursue today.
During my time at Holden, I contributed to multiple projects in forest ecology research, focusing on soil microbes and forest vegetation. One particular study of interactions amongst plants and fungi led to my first co-authorship of published research, which was released in the International Journal of Plant Sciences in 2018.
